Our Daily Bread 2nd Anniversary Challenge: Day one: Cotton

Today, ODB is starting their 5 days of their 2nd Anniversay celebration. The challenge today is to use cotton in your project. Cotton is a traditional gift for a second anniversary. For my card, I used a piece of cotton fabric as a curtain. I gathered it by sewing the top of the fabric first and sandwiched it between papers. My DP is from DCWV's sweet stack. My sentiment on the inside is by Hero Arts Birtday frames. I used a nestie for the tag and the window. I'll be sending this to my daughter-in-law for her birthday. She loves both pink and chocolate, so I think this card is appropriate for her! Here's hoping for a chance to win some beautiful ODB stamps!

Jazzy Inspirations #15

Hi! This is so exciting... Here is my very first creation as a DT member! And I get to be on the team until December! As I mentioned the other day, the blog is called Jazzy Inspirations. Every other week, their challenge is inpired by a different Jazz Album cover. This concept opens up all kinds of creative ideas! You can make anything you want based on the colors of the album. Valentine Tags

Here's some little Valentine tags that I made to paste onto some big Chocolate hearts for my son's 1st grade classroom. They were easy to make. I used a Nestabilities tag for the colored paper (by Paper Studio)and the white tags were premade by Paper Reflections (at Hobby Lobby), stamped the heart (by Penny Black) with red pigment ink (by JoAnn CraftEssentials) and them slipped different colors of ribbon through the top punched holes. Caardvarks card challenge

Here is my card entry for this months card challenge on Caardvarks. I made it for my neice. The heart has magnets on the back of it and it is removable. She put the heart on her fridge!
