Jazzy Paper Designs Challenge #8

This is the inpiration piece for Jazzy Paper Designs Challenge this week! Isn't it cool? AND we have a great sponsor this week! ......2 Cute Rubber Stamps!!! Heidi is the owner and she has the cutest rubber and digi stamps.
Regarding our inspiration piece: Bob Brookmeyer is an American jazz trombonist, pianist and arranger. He was born in 1929 and is 81 years old now and he continues to perform. He presently teach jazz composition at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston Mass. He has also worked extensively as a composer and conductor in Europe. He started a school in the Netherlands teaching improvisation and composition. He received an Emmy Award Nomination for his 2005 Album Spirit Music. You can hear a sample of his music here.

I enjoyed this color combo and I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with! The DP is from the collection of DCWV Nana's Kitchen.

Get well card, Bo Bunny Challenge

Hi. Here's a card I made for some friends in the hospital. I made it for the Bo Bunny challenge, but I was too late to enter it. Oh well, maybe next time. Here's the site: http://bobunny.blogspot.com/2009/03/join-us-in-card-sketch.html

I used Basic Grey papers (Sultry line) and the flowers are from Taylored Expressions: Spring Flowers. They are so pretty and fun to work with. (and reasonably priced!) I used a Nestie for the sentiment tag and printed the sentiment on my computer. The little flower stamp on the right side of the sentiment is stamped in Distressed Ink Mahagony. Then I made an envelope to match.
Thanks for looking.

Valentine Tags

Here's some little Valentine tags that I made to paste onto some big Chocolate hearts for my son's 1st grade classroom. They were easy to make. I used a Nestabilities tag for the colored paper (by Paper Studio)and the white tags were premade by Paper Reflections (at Hobby Lobby), stamped the heart (by Penny Black) with red pigment ink (by JoAnn CraftEssentials) and them slipped different colors of ribbon through the top punched holes. Thanks for looking!
