Here are two cards I made for Valentines Day. The first one I made for my husband, based on this awesome tutorial by Beates. I basically copied her whole design, just used different papers. Thank you Beates! It was really fun to make. The hardest part was keeping the panels square! The second card I made for my daughter. I hand cut the hearts, used a hearts stamp with white ink on the transparency for the window. I used Spellbinder fleur de lis frame. Turned out really pretty. Hope you have a great day!
I love card making! I am hoping to make lots of friends here and share lots of ideas, fun and inspiration!

Daring Cardmakers, Dutch Dare and Simon Says Challenges
Hi! I've made two cards of the same design, just different colors for three challenges this week. Daring Cardmakers: Have a Heart, Dutch Dare : Valentines Day (to win two stamps by Crafty Sentiments)and Simon Says: What's love got to do with it? (to win a $25 voucher and a pile of goodies from CHA!).
I used a stamp runner by Inkadinkado for the heart border, the border punch is Martha Stewart, the "i love my family" stamp is by Heidi Grace (We are Family) and the polkadot paper is by Paper Studio.

I {heart} to stamp challenge
I've made this card for three challenges. Jen Del Muro's sketch challenge (with a possible $200 prize!!), Our Daily Bread: Hearts challenge, and the ABC Challenge: N is for new. (used my new Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Pendant)
The heart and sentiment are freebies from Simple Doodles.
Notice the white in the background? It's the Colorado snow! My sister-in-law made the little note in the snow on the railing before I took the picture of my card.
Thank you for stopping by today.

Valentine Tags
Here's some little Valentine tags that I made to paste onto some big Chocolate hearts for my son's 1st grade classroom. They were easy to make. I used a Nestabilities tag for the colored paper (by Paper Studio)and the white tags were premade by Paper Reflections (at Hobby Lobby), stamped the heart (by Penny Black) with red pigment ink (by JoAnn CraftEssentials) and them slipped different colors of ribbon through the top punched holes. Thanks for looking!

Valentine Cards
Here are some Valentine's Day cards that I've made. I was inpired by designs made by Jennifer McGuire. Here is a link to her page where she made some adorable cards. She is so talented. Her blog is absolutely great. I've learned so much from her tutorials, videos and her enthusiasm. http://jennifermcguireink.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/01/my-new-obsession.html
I cuttlebugged the backgrounds, punched out circles and pasted hearts of various prints to the circles, added ribbon, gems and stickles. Thanks for stopping by.
